IPC to BNS Converter: Find New and Old Sections (BNSS, BSA too)

Type any old or new section number and see its counterpart instantly: IPC to BNS, CrPC to BNSS and Evidence Act to BSA, and back again. The tool covers every section of all six laws, including lettered sections such as 498A, 304B and 65B.

Works both ways: enter an old IPC, CrPC or Evidence Act section, or a new BNS, BNSS or BSA section.

How to use the converter

  • Type the Act and number, for example IPC 420, BNS 318, CrPC 125 or BSA 63. Formats like "u/s 302 IPC", "498 A" and "धारा 302" also work.
  • If you type only a number, the tool shows matches from all three pairs, with the old IPC first.
  • Where a section was split, merged or dropped, the result says so. A few mappings on which official tables differ are marked for you to check against the bare Act.
  • Where Lexfolio has a detailed explainer, the result links to it.
