Post an Opportunity on Lexfolio (Free and Sponsored Listings)

Lexfolio lists opportunities that are useful to law students in India: workshops, certificate courses, moots, essay competitions, calls for papers, internships and fellowships. This page sets out what we list and what it costs.

Free listings

If participants pay you nothing, we list it free. That covers free workshops and webinars, unpaid and paid internships, moots and competitions with no entry fee, calls for papers with no publication charge, scholarships and fellowships. We list it free because the reader gains and nobody is being sold anything.

Sponsored listings, where you charge a fee

If you charge participants a registration, entry or publication fee, the listing is commercial and is priced as a sponsored post. Introductory rates:

  • Standard listing, Rs 499. A full page on Lexfolio with your dates, speakers, fee and registration link, kept up until the deadline passes.
  • Featured listing, Rs 999. The same page, plus a place on the opportunities page, a mention in the Lexfolio newsletter, and a post on the Lexfolio Instagram and Telegram channels.

Every sponsored listing is marked as sponsored on the page itself. Paying for a listing does not buy a recommendation, and we will not write that we endorse something we have not seen.

What we will not list

  • Anything that calls its certificate a diploma or a degree, unless it is awarded by a university established by statute.
  • Internships or training where the student pays a fee and the only thing they receive is a certificate.
  • Unpaid work advertised as an internship where the work is plainly commercial output for a business.
  • Anything we cannot trace to a real organiser with a working contact address.

How to send it

Email support@lexfolio.in with the subject Opportunity listing. Include the title, organiser, dates, mode, eligibility, fee if any, deadline, the official page link, the registration link, and a contact person. We reply within about three working days. If it is a sponsored listing we will send a payment link, and the page goes up once payment is received.

Our side of it

We check your official page before publishing and we write the listing ourselves. If a detail is on your page we repeat it. If it is not, we say so rather than print it unchecked. Outbound links on listings carry the nofollow attribute, which is how search engines expect paid links to be marked.
