Description
Every parent wants to protect their child, but few know what the law already promises them. Schools demand donations and raise fees without limit, a child is hit or humiliated in class, a coaching centre will not refund a lakh of rupees, a teenager is blackmailed online, or a separated parent is kept away from a son or daughter. In each case, Indian law has a clear rule, a forum and a first step. This course gives parents and guardians that knowledge in plain language, with exact sections, helplines and model letters.
What you will learn
- Admission rights under the RTE Act: 25% seats in private schools, no capitation fee or screening, age proof and transfer certificates
- The current no detention rules after the 2019 amendment and the December 2024 rules, and the ban on corporal punishment
- How state fee laws (including Uttar Pradesh and Delhi) control school fees, and how to challenge an illegal hike
- Board exam rights, including CBSE’s two Class 10 exams and access to evaluated answer books, and how to hold coaching centres to the 2024 guidelines
