Why short legal courses are worth your time
Most legal trouble in daily life is lost through delay or a wrong first step, not through bad luck in court. A bank fraud reported within three working days of the bank’s alert is treated very differently from one reported after a week. A consumer complaint has a two-year window. An RTI first appeal must be filed within 30 days. A short course puts these rules, forums and time limits in one place, in the order you will need them.
For students and professionals, the value is different: a course with a real test makes you learn a subject end to end, and a verifiable certificate is a clean way to show that effort on a CV. We have written an honest note on when online law certificates are worth it, and when they are not, and on how to list them on your CV.

Frequently asked questions
Are these courses recognised by the Bar Council or UGC?
No. They are certificates of completion issued by Lexfolio. They show that you studied a subject and passed an assessment. They are not degrees, diplomas or professional qualifications and do not replace the internships the Bar Council requires for LL.B. students.
Do I need a law background?
Not for Everyday Law, POSH or DPDP. The others assume you are a law student, aspirant or working professional, but each starts from the basics.
How long does a course take?
It depends on your pace. Most learners finish a course over a few days or a couple of weekends. Access is lifetime, so there is no deadline.
Can I study in Hindi?
Yes. The Everyday Law course is available in Hindi for ₹299, and many free guides on this site have Hindi versions.
What if I fail the final test?
Revise the lessons and attempt it again.
Is there a refund?
Please read our refund policy before buying. For any problem with access, write to support@lexfolio.in.
