CLAT 2027 Admit Card: Date, Download Steps and Exam Centres

The CLAT 2027 admit card has not been released yet, and the Consortium has not announced its date: its instructions say only that candidates will download it by logging into their account and that the date will be intimated on the website. CLAT 2027 is on Sunday, 6 December 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Going by CLAT 2026, when the admit card appeared around 22 November 2025 for a 7 December exam, expect it in the third week of November, but treat that as a pattern and not a promise.

CLAT 2027 admit card: when and how to download

There is no post, email attachment or WhatsApp delivery. The Consortium’s instructions say the admit card or hall ticket can be downloaded by logging into your account, and that the exact date will be announced on the website. For CLAT 2026, news reports put the release at about 22 November 2025, roughly two weeks before the exam. Do not rely on an unofficial site claiming a date for 2027. Open your account every second day from 15 November.

1. Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in and open the CLAT 2027 login.
2. Enter your registered mobile number and password (use Forgot Password if needed, well before the exam).
3. Click the download admit card button once it appears.
4. Print it clearly on A4. Reports on CLAT 2026 said one printed copy was required; a phone screen is not a safe substitute.

What to check on your CLAT admit card

• Your name, photograph, signature, date of birth and category, matched to your certificates.
• The exam centre name, full address, date, time and reporting time. The reporting time is printed on the admit card, so follow that and not a coaching group’s guess.
• The instructions printed on the card. They override anything you read online.

CLAT 2027 exam centres: what can change

You choose test city preferences in the application form, and the Consortium allots the centre. Its instructions reserve the right to cancel a city or centre, for example when too few or too many candidates opt for it, and shift candidates elsewhere. This does happen. For CLAT 2027, Vellore and Tiruvarur were removed as test cities by a notice of 3 September 2026. For CLAT 2026, a notice of 28 November 2025 moved the Lucknow centre at Rajajipuram from one college to another and asked affected candidates to download a revised admit card.

The lesson: download your admit card when it opens, then check your account again about three days before the exam. Visit your centre in advance if it is in another part of your city, and plan transport for a Sunday.

Documents to carry on 6 December 2026

• The printed admit card.
• One valid photo ID. For CLAT 2026, reports listed Aadhaar, passport, PAN card, ration card with photograph, voter ID and driving licence. Confirm the accepted list on your 2027 admit card.
• Pens as your admit card instructions allow, and nothing else you have not checked against those instructions.

Only the Consortium can change it. In earlier cycles, candidates were allowed to edit test city preferences until a notified date. For 2027, affected candidates could change cities only until 31 October 2026. After that, contact the helpdesk if you have a genuine problem.

Is a digital copy of the CLAT admit card accepted?

Do not depend on it. Reports on CLAT 2026 said a printed copy was needed at the centre. Print two clear copies anyway, keep one in your bag, and follow the instructions on your own admit card.
