Call for Papers: Nigerian Academicians and Law Students — LJLPS

The Lexfolio Journal of Law, Policy and Social Sciences (LJLPS) welcomes submissions from Nigerian academicians, postgraduate students, and legal practitioners. Here’s what Nigerian authors specifically should know before submitting.

Scope relevant to Nigerian scholarship

LJLPS covers law, public policy and allied social sciences broadly — comparative constitutional law, human rights, commercial and corporate law, environmental and natural-resource law, criminal justice, and public administration are all within scope, alongside India-specific legal topics. Comparative work examining Nigerian and other jurisdictions’ approaches to shared legal challenges is particularly welcome.

Why publish internationally

Publishing outside your home jurisdiction’s journal ecosystem broadens your research’s visibility and demonstrates comparative and international engagement — a credential increasingly valued in Nigerian academic promotion criteria (NUC and university-specific publication requirements typically reward journals indexed with DOI assignment and genuine peer review, both of which LJLPS provides).

Submission process and fees

Submit via the online form at the link below with your manuscript as a Word file. Standard review is free; a paid fast-track review option exists for authors needing a faster decision. Article processing charges apply only after acceptance (never before), and international authors can now pay online by card.

Formatting requirements

Law papers follow Bluebook or OSCOLA citation style (your choice); papers from other social sciences disciplines follow APA. Full formatting guidelines are on the author guidelines page linked below.
