The Lexfolio Journal of Law, Policy and Social Sciences (LJLPS) invites manuscripts from law faculty, graduate students, and researchers based in the United States.
Scope
We are especially interested in comparative constitutional law, comparative criminal justice, technology and privacy law, and policy scholarship that puts the U.S. legal system in dialogue with other jurisdictions, including South Asia.
Why publish with LJLPS
The Lexfolio Journal of Law, Policy and Social Sciences (LJLPS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. Issue 1 is free to submit to, and the article processing charge (APC) applies only after a paper is accepted — you are never asked to pay to be considered. Standard peer review is free; a paid fast-track review option is available if you need a quicker decision. Papers are reviewed on their merits by subject-matter reviewers, not accepted automatically.
What we are looking for
LJLPS welcomes comparative, doctrinal, empirical and policy-oriented scholarship in law and the social sciences, including work engaging with South Asian legal systems from a comparative perspective, as well as papers on general jurisprudence, constitutional law, human rights, technology law, and public policy that would interest an international readership.
Formatting and citation
Law papers should follow Bluebook or OSCOLA citation (contributor’s choice, kept consistent throughout the paper); papers in other social sciences should follow APA style. Manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
How to submit
If you work on comparative or international law topics and want a venue that reviews on merit rather than charging to be considered, LJLPS may be a good fit.
Read the full call for papers, review the author guidelines, and check the article processing charges (payable only after acceptance; international card payments are supported). Submit your manuscript via the submission page.
