What the best CLAT PG mock test series must have
A CLAT PG test series is only useful if it feels like the real paper. Run any provider, including us, through this checklist.
- Passage-first questions. The Consortium’s PG syllabus says candidates will get extracts from primary legal materials such as important court decisions, and the questions test whether you can identify the issue, spot related legal issues, summarise the passage and apply the law. A CLAT LLM mock test of one-line fact questions trains the wrong skill.
- All 13 subjects, including Tax, Labour and Environmental Law, which weak sets skip.
- Current law. Criminal law questions must be on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, BNSS and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, in force since 1 July 2024. Labour questions should reflect the four Labour Codes, in force since 21 November 2025.
- Recent judgments. A good CLAT PG mock test 2027 uses Supreme Court decisions of 2025 and 2026, not only the classics.
- Explanations that cite the Article, section or case, and say why the tempting option is wrong.
- Negative marking in the score. Your score report must deduct 0.25 per wrong answer.

How many CLAT PG mocks to take before 6 December, and when
From 29 October to 6 December there are 38 days. A full mock takes 2 hours to write and about 2 hours to analyse. A workable plan:
- 29 October to 15 November: two full mocks a week. Between mocks, revise the subjects each mock exposed.
- 16 November to 30 November: three mocks a week, always at 2:00 pm, the real slot.
- 1 to 4 December: one final mock, then only your error log, your judgment list and current legal developments.
- 5 December: no mock. Check admit card and centre, and sleep on time.
That gives you 8 to 10 full tests. The CLAT PG last 50 days strategy sets out the revision side of this plan.
How to analyse a CLAT PG mock properly
What matters is why you lost marks. Sort every wrong or skipped question into one of four boxes:
- Did not know the law. Fix: add it to your notes and revise.
- Misread the passage. You knew the law but answered from memory and missed the twist in the extract. Fix: read the question stem before the passage next time.
- Ran out of time. Fix: with 120 questions in 120 minutes, give a five-question passage about five minutes.
- Bad guess. Fix: guess only when you can eliminate at least one option. A blind guess among four options gains only about +0.06 marks on average.
Keep a one-page error log. By the fifth mock, Ritika from Jaipur may see she loses far more on Tax and Company Law passages than on Constitutional Law, which tells her where the next week goes. The important Supreme Court judgments for CLAT PG 2027 list is the fastest way to fill gaps of the first kind.
