What you get in the CLAT PG free mock test
The free CLAT PG 2027 online mock test is one full-length paper. You register or log in, click Start learning, and get 120 passage-based questions with a 120-minute clock that submits the paper automatically when time runs out. Your score appears immediately, and each question has an explanation that names the Article, section or judgment that decides it. You can retake it as often as you like, though the second attempt measures memory more than skill.
This CLAT PG free mock test is built for LL.B. graduates and final-year students, and suits anyone using a CLAT PG score for PSU recruitment.
Is there an official CLAT PG sample paper for 2027?
The Consortium’s CLAT 2027 PG pages on consortiumofnlus.ac.in set out the syllabus, the question paper format and the instructions. The closest official practice material is the set of previous years’ question papers, which the Consortium sells for ₹500 alongside the application. The application window closes at 11:59 pm on 31 October 2026, and no extension had been announced when this was written. Use the official papers as your benchmark of difficulty, and treat any “CLAT PG sample paper 2027” from other sources, including ours, as practice built to that benchmark. Our guide to CLAT PG previous year question papers explains how to use them.
How to take a CLAT PG practice test so the score means something
Treat the CLAT PG free mock test as the real exam:
- Use the real slot. Start at 2:00 pm. That is the hour that counts on 6 December.
- Remove help. No bare Acts, no notes, no phone.
- Budget by passage. 120 questions in 120 minutes means about one minute per question, reading included. A passage with five questions gets about five minutes.
- Guess with a reason. Attempt a question only if you can rule out at least one option. With minus 0.25, a pure guess among four options gains only about +0.06 marks on average; a guess between two gains about +0.375.
- Do not pause. If you stop midway, the score tells you nothing about stamina.
Practise this in exam conditions. After the free mock, the CLAT PG 2027 Online Test Series gives you three more full-length mocks online, each timed at 120 minutes, with instant scores and explained answers citing the Article, section or judgment. CLAT PG 2027 Online Test Series, ₹99. For printable papers, see the CLAT PG 2027 Mock Tests, ₹149: two full papers, each 24 passages and 120 questions across all 13 subjects.
Reading your free mock score
Your CLAT PG free mock test score is correct answers minus a quarter of wrong answers. If Sneha from Kanpur attempts 100 questions, gets 70 right and 30 wrong, her score is 70 minus 7.5 = 62.5. The 30 wrong answers cost her 7.5 marks.
Do not compare a free mock score with last year’s NLU cut-offs. One mock is a single data point. Use it for three checks:
- Accuracy: below about 70 per cent, you are guessing too much or misreading passages. Attempt fewer, read more carefully.
- Subject gaps: list the subjects where you lost the most marks. Those decide your next ten days.
- Time: note how many questions were left untouched. If it was more than ten, practise passage budgeting.
If you are also applying for PSU jobs, note that some PSU notices set a minimum CLAT PG mark. POWERGRID’s notice for Officer Trainee (Law) through CLAT 2026, for example, required at least 40 per cent for unreserved and 30 per cent for reserved vacancies. See PSU recruitment through CLAT PG.
After the free mock: a free CLAT PG test series is not enough
One free test gives you a baseline, not preparation. Between now and 6 December you need 8 to 10 full mocks, each analysed. A sensible sequence is free mock now, then an official previous paper, then fresh full-length mocks twice a week, rising to three a week from mid-November. Combine them with targeted reading of the important Supreme Court judgments for CLAT PG 2027, since passages come from court decisions. If judgment passages are your weak spot, the CLAT PG 2027 Judgment Passages (₹349) give 25 Supreme Court judgments of 2026 as CLAT PG style passages with five questions each.
