An AIBE sample paper for 2026 should copy the AIBE XXII blueprint exactly: 100 one-mark multiple-choice questions over 19 subjects, with Constitutional Law, CrPC and BNSS, and CPC at 10 questions each, and no negative marking as in recent cycles. The BCI does not list a separate model paper on its portal, so the closest official sample is the AIBE XXI question booklet with its final answer key on allindiabarexamination.com. The AIBE model paper 2026 blueprint
Any AIBE sample paper worth your three hours follows the official question count. Grouped by weight, the AIBE XXII syllabus looks like this:
- Heavy heads, 62 marks: Constitutional Law 10; CrPC and BNSS 10; CPC 10; IPC and BNS 8; Evidence Act and BSA 8; Family Law 8; Contract, Specific Relief, Property Laws and NI Act 8.
- Middle heads, 25 marks: Tort including the Motor Vehicles Act and Consumer Protection Law 5; ADR including Arbitration 4; PIL 4; Professional Ethics and BCI Rules 4; Labour and Industrial Law 4; Taxation 4.
- Administrative Law: 3 marks.
- Short heads, 10 marks: Company Law, Environmental Law, Cyber Law, Land Acquisition and IPR, 2 each.
If an AIBE XXII sample paper you find has, say, 20 Constitution questions and no Land Acquisition, it is not built on this syllabus. The full table with study tips is in our AIBE subject wise weightage guide.
How to sit an AIBE sample paper like the real exam
- Same time slot. Recent cycles were afternoon papers (1 pm to 4 pm in AIBE XXI as reported). Practise at that hour so your concentration peaks at the right time.
- Same tools. Clean Bare Acts only, no notes or comments, as the AIBE XXI guidelines require. Print an OMR-style sheet and bubble your answers.
- Two rounds. First round: answer everything you know without opening a Bare Act (about 90 minutes). Second round: look up the flagged questions. Last 10 minutes: fill every remaining bubble, since there is no negative marking.
- Mark and review. Note each miss against its subject. Two weak subjects fixed are worth more than a third full paper.
Practise this in exam conditions. Five full-length AIBE XXII mock papers, each 100 new questions in the official BCI subject distribution, with an answer key and detailed solutions citing the section, Article or case; criminal law on the BNS, BNSS and BSA with old IPC and CrPC references. AIBE XXII Mock Tests, ₹149. Or begin with the free 50-question AIBE mock.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I get the official AIBE sample paper?
The BCI portal, allindiabarexamination.com, does not list a separate sample or model paper. The best official sample is the AIBE XXI question booklet, posted with the provisional answer key in June 2026, together with the final answer key of July 2026.
Is the AIBE model paper 2026 the same as the AIBE XXII paper?
No. A model paper only follows the pattern and subject split. AIBE XXII on 29 November 2026 will have new questions set by the BCI.
How many AIBE mock papers should I solve?
Four to six full-length papers, each reviewed carefully, is enough for most candidates. Include at least one official past paper.
Does the AIBE sample paper have negative marking?
Recent AIBE papers have had no negative marking, and a good practice paper should be marked the same way. Attempt every question.
